• u / d: move backward/forward one half-window.
• b / f: move backward/forward one window.
• ESC u: toggle search highlighting.
• n / N: repeat last search in normal/reverse direction. Add ESC prefix to search spanning files.
• :n / :p: examine the next/previous file.
• :e [file]: examine a new file.

Don’t clear the screen on exit

       -X or --no-init
	      Disables sending the termcap initialization and deinitialization
	      strings to the terminal.	This is  sometimes  desirable  if  the
	      deinitialization	string does something unnecessary, like clear-
	      ing the screen.

Usually used with -F for direct output in one screen, and -R to show colors.

       -F or --quit-if-one-screen
	      Causes less to automatically exit if the entire file can be
	      displayed on the first screen.
