Create .ipa files without a developer account

  1. Archive the target
  2. Right-click the archive and click “Show in Finder”
  3. Right-click the .xcarchive file and click “Show Package Contents”
  4. Go into the Products folder
  5. Rename Applications to Payload
  6. Right-click the Payload folder and click “Compress …”
  7. Renamed the generated .zip file to a .ipa file
